So I have been a super duper bad blogger the last 2 days SORRY!
I have been fairly busy up at my parents house and was supposed to have my Kidney Transplant Specialist appointment but didn't end up seeing him. That's a story I will tell another time!
Anyways I really need to recap what I have eaten for the last 2 days. I know its annoying but it is really therapeutic for me.
Okie Dokie Artichokie!
Lets talk Wednesday food shall we!
As I was at my parents house I didn't have anytime to have anything for breakfast whilst I was there so I grabbed some stuff from the shops on my way down to work and ate that! I had a Skinny Cappuccino and a Chobani Strawberry Yogie this morning along with another massive bottle of water and POM Pomegranate Peach Passion White Tea which is a Antioxidant Super Tea. I feel that when I eat something like this for breakfast I am having to many dairy items! I am trying to limit the amount of dairy I eat and drink because it always leaves me feeling bloated and mucus -y. The tea I actually spent all day drinking, I like it because it tastes AMAZING and lets face it I could use some more antioxidants any day!
Breakfast Stats: 348 cals
For morning snack you can see that I was still going on my Super Tea and had a large portion left to get through. I had a Lo Carb protein bar to munch on however I am yet to find one that I actually enjoy! I hated this cookies and cream one so much that I only had one bite for my snack, however that did seem to do the job and fill me up!
Morning Stats: 99 Cals
Lunch was Garden Salad with more Super Tea and water. I love love LOVE this garden salad so much! I buy it from Coles and it comes in a one serving container with a little bit of cheese, some great lettuce, cherry tomatoes, carrot and a herb dressing. It truely is a healthy and fuss free lunch.
Lunch Stats: 137 Cals
Dinner was actually the only meal for the day that I had that was from the 12wbt nutrition guide. It was the incredibly delicious and super duper easy to make Asian Chicken Patties with Warm Noodle Salad. I really enjoyed the chicken patty, I am not one for foods like that but it was so incredibly tasty, I put a large amount of coriander in the chicken patty which Dyl thought was probs a little too much but I thought it gave it plenty of flavor. The Warm Noodle Salad was a little bit of a let down, it was just vermicelli noodles, sliced cucumber and snow peas. I found that the flavours were just dull and it really needed some sort of dressing to liven it up.
Dinner Stats: 294 Cals
DESSERT:Once again I had dessert! I feel I eat more junk food when I am up at my parents than I do when I am at home. I ended up having a Skinny Cow Sundae but this is a habit that I really REALLY want to kick!
Dessert Stats: 110 Cals.
I recently downloaded a app on my phone that tracks how many steps you take each day, showing you how far you walked, the amount of time spent walking and also the amount of time spent driving around. I found this app interesting because I wanted to see how many steps I would take on a average working day when I have NOT gone for a walk. Note that I haven't gone to see my trainer nor gone for any walks other than Monday this week because I have been staying at my parents house. I knew that the count would be low but I was extremely shocked at just how low it was!
As you can see 1,592 steps is pitiful! I am shocked at how little that I walk whilst at work! I really need to ensure that I go for some sort of walk each day as I know that I should be aiming for 10,000 to 12,000 steps. If you want to download the app its called MOVES.
