12wbt Day 8


So unfortunately I haven't been blogging at night lately and I am getting a little behind in my recounts of each day!

Hopefully I shall make some time in the evenings and rectify this!

Anyways lets Recount Monday 12wbt Day 8

I am always super grouchy on Monday, I really am not a Monday person!

Okie Dokie lets get down to business shall we!

BREAKFAST:


I was pretty darn hungry when I woke up so I decided to have breakfast before I headed to see my personal trainer, maybe not the best idea! I had muesli again because lets face it, it really is the easiest and tastiest breakfast!
Breakfast Stats: 257 Cals

I then headed to see my trainer who pretty much kicked my butt! I did way too many crunches, squats and weights gosh he really is trying to kill me. I am so happy but kinda unhappy at how hard he pushes me. Sometimes when I am struggling to do a fairly simple exercise I think back to before I put on all the weight and how easy it was for me. I really need to stop doing that though!


As you can see from this less than flattering picture I was so super hot and sweaty that my eyes where all creepy and blood shot ewwwww!!

LUNCH:

Lunch was AMAZING! Another 12wbt recipe this time the delicious Mediterranean Vegetable Sandwich with Basil Ricotta. I love love LOVE this sandwich! I am not the biggest fan of ricotta but in this sandwich it is truely heavenly! Normally I cook this in the morning before I leave for work but I actually didn't work so I cooked this as I made it and having the veggies still warm melted the ricotta a little making it even more creamy!
Lunch Stats: 287 Cals

Now I had a bit of a strange afternoon, I was feeling WEIRD! It felt like all of a sudden I was hit with the Flu! I ended up unfortunatelytrying to cure this feeling with treats, and by treats I mean diet treats but still NOT what I want to be doing!

AFTERNOON SNACKS:

I had a skinny cow Sundae (not pictured) as well as a frozen juice box. Now yes these items are with in my calorie limit for the day and whilst I didn't go over my daily calorie allowance this is certainly NOT the food that I want to waste my Calories on!
Afternoon Stats: 221 Cals

DINNER:

Dinner was truely AMAZING! I was really not looking forward to it as it as it was Basil and Walnut Pesto Pasta with Roast Pumpkin and Tomatoes. I am not a big fan of vegetable pastas but as it was a 12wbt recipe I gave it my best go and boy oh boy was I wrong! This past was amazing! The pesto was delicious especially with the oven roasted veggies. I will definitely be making this again! Dyl made a very meaty pasta but gave mine a try and loved it so that goes to show just how great it was.
Dinner Stats: 229 Cals

I was craving like crazy after dinner, not to sure why but I really wanted cheese and ice cream. Clearly I was in a dairy mood which is a little odd for me because I am not the biggest fan of dairy!

DESSERT:

As I was in a super crazy craving mood I had another Skinny Cow item (Dyl bought a bunch of them for the freezer because he though that would be better than having a super craving and going to McDonalds) this time I went for a double choc ice cream sandwich which really hit the spot and was still under my daily calories but as I said above not really what I want to be eating all the time!
Dessert Stats: 129 Cals

All up I did pretty well and I am glad that I did although I am not to happy with all the processed sweets I had through out the day, I am really working on trying to get over my sweet tooth and this was certainly not a good day for that!

My Daily Motivation
Next time I am having a craving I want to use this system to try and curb my sweet tooth!
