The Day I was asked if I was pregnant when I wasn't!

So I know that I have been M.I.A for about 2 weeks now
and I could give you all a bullshit excuse about how I have been super busy
and blah blah blah

but to be honest I just didn't feel like blogging!

Life continued on as usual I just had nothing good to blog about.

I have been toying around with a good topic for getting back into blogging but I haven't really had anything exciting to blog about that is until...

The day I was asked if I was pregnant when I wasn't

which in actual fact was TODAY!

I had lunch with Dylan at a Asian take away in the shopping complex I run, the couple that own it know me well as I run around the shopping centre for my job.

Anyway there was nothing out of the ordinary today,
wore my usual work attire,
though I looked good because I have lost a few lbs,
ate half a small salad because I wasn't super hunger,

we went to leave and then she asked me if my pregnancy was planned or not!!

I laughed it off and smiled in a lost in translation sort of way as she is Chinese and bless her heart can only speak broken English.

She is the sweetest of lady's and I am sure that it was meant in a lovely way but WOW what a way to bring me crashing back down to earth!

I have been doing home Zumba every day now and eating pretty well but I guess I am not doing as well as I thought HA HA!

As of the 8th of June it is now officially 2 years since my Kidney Transplant and with the results I am having I can pretty much start planning for a child now!

However I need to weight to be in order before I do and today's missed placed kindness incident makes me realise just how much I have to do!

I will get there! I know I will hopefully I can start blogging more results on here soon!

Okie Dokie Artichokie that is all for me today!
Hopefully I will be back here tomorrow!

My Current Sponsors!!!

Good Monday Morning lovers

So I have had this post sitting and waiting for a while now, I had planned on posting it Friday 24th of May but was waiting to hear back for my sponsors.

I moved it to last Friday because I had only heard from 2 sponsors but ended up getting side tracked with the Liebster Award post and didn't end up posting on it!
Well I am going to post my it today!

Welcome everyone to my

SPONSOR POST!

I have 2 lovely bloggers who took the time to get back to me about their blogs so I shall post about them and then down the bottom I shall include the links to the blogs that didn't get back to me in time!

First we have the lovely

LISA

I'm a 25 year old living in Dallas, Texas with my lovely Boyfriend. I am a Florida native and love everything about where I come from. I love sharing things I do in my life, things I love, and fun trips that I take. I am in the process of becoming healthier, so I will be having more healthy recipes added from time to time. This blog is a lifestyle blog that just shares my life with you, and in hopes to find people that inspire me.

Social Media Links: //BLOG//INSTAGRAM//BLOGLOVIN//

Lisa is also a fellow Revolt Now Fitness Blogger and has included a small paragraph about how she fairing on the program.

I am so happy that I started the program Revolt. I am three weeks in and I have lost 5 healthy pounds. It’s a process but this is the first time I have not given up on being healthy and working out. I can't even explain how much this program has inspired me and made me change more choices.

Next we have the beautiful

Emorie

I'm Emorie, and I write over on the little blog Oh Whimsical Me. It's a brand new blog that I am pretty proud of. A personal project of mine, and a fight against my struggles with anxiety, Oh Whimsical Me is a place full of adventures, crafty things, vegetarian recipes, thrifty fashion, natural beauty solutions, my fitness journey, personal stories, and all the whimsy things I love. Oh, and there are lots of puppy pictures. I live in Idaho with my love, William, and our pups. I'm still trying to figure my life out (isn't it a constant journey for all of us?) and have dreams of a career in graphic design.

Social Media Links: //BLOG//FACEBOOK//GOOGLE+//INSTAGRAM//TWITTER//

Emorie is also a Revolt Now Fitness Blogger and has included a short paragraph about her current journey on the program.

Revolt has been a challenge, but I love it. I'm enjoying making fitness such a huge part of my life and becoming healthier and stronger every day. I am seeing results already (after three weeks, currently in week four): I have lost 7lbs, 2.6% body fat, and many inches. See my latest results here.

My other current sponsors include:

Destini

That is all for my Sponsors.

Just wanted to let you all know that the Revolt Now Fitness Program June Uprising starts TODAY!! 3rd of June so head on over and join up. I am loving the Revolt Program and I am sure you all will too!

Love You All

Liebster Award

Good Morning Lovers

I have some wonderful news for you all!

I have been nominated for a Liebster Award.

I am super duper happy that someone reads my blog let alone likes it enough to nominate it for an award!

Who nominated me for this award? Why the beautiful Emorie from Oh Whimsical Me scoot on over to her blog and read all about how wonderful she is, you wont be disappointed!!

So what is a Liebster Award I hear you ask? I asked myself that same question!

The Liebster Award is an award for blogs with under 200 followers. Liebster is German for dearest, or beloved and a blog nominated for the Liebster Award is said to be worth watching.

There are a few things to follow once you have been nominated:
  • Acknowledge the blog that nominated you with a post.
  • Share 11 facts about yourself.
  • Then answer the 11 questions the nominating blogger has created for you.
  • List up to 11 bloggers with less than 200 followers that you believe deserve some recognition.
  • Post 11 new questions for them to answer.
  • Notify all the bloggers you've selected that they've been nominated.
  • Do not nominate the blog who nominated you.

Okie Dokie Artichokie

11 Facts about myself:

1.) I have a terrible phobia of spiders, so bad that when Dylan finds a spider in the house no matter how small he has to get rid of it. But lately we have been getting these giant black horrible spiders all over the place, I think it has something to do with the colder weather. I saw one of them the other night in my bedroom so we had to sleep in the lounge room because I was so terrified even after Dylan killed it!

2.) I never finished year 12 of high school! I had my first kidney transplant in the middle of year 11 whilst changing schools (bad idea!) anyway I went back to a new school after 2 weeks off to recover from my transplant. The first month you have to visit the hospital every day to get bloods done and check on everything. The second month you have to go every second day, the third month every third day and so till you get to once every 2 weeks for a while. Anyway I managed to finish year 11 even though I was often home sick but at the start of year 12 after finishing one term of school I felt that I was too far behind after missing so much of the previous year, so I left! A lot of people told me that I wouldn't amount to anything and end up working at drive-thru's the rest of my life, yeah guess again buddy!!

16 year old me in my pink formal dress with my best friends ha ha braces and all!

3.) When I was  in year 9 at school I was told I had natural golfing ability and asked to train specially to represent my school. I did a few trainings but found it incredibly boring and stopped playing! I still wonder maybe I could have been the tiger woods of women and by that I mean be amazing at golf and then let a crazy personal life drama ruin my career!

4.) It took me over 20 times to get my Learners license. Crazy I know, it was super duper expensive to try each time too like $25. Needless to say my mother was rather glad that I finally got it. I studied for it and everything I just really didn't want to get my license, I had a weird fear of growing up and getting too much responsibility too soon.

5.) I can't remember many of my memories too well theses days. I think it has something to do with the medication and some off the side effects of getting so sick. Most of my brain is a fog, I have to really think about something to try and remember. Sometimes I don't know what are real memories and what are made up as I had such a amazing childhood. It makes me sad when I think about it all!

Rocking some serious curlers before my sugar plum fairy ballet performance circa 1992!!

6.) In another life I think that I would travel the world, living out of my bag working crappy jobs just to see everything. I often day dream about that life but I would never be able to do anything like that, I get a sick feeling in my stomach when I am in a different country purely because I don't have my transplant specialist there. I feel anchored to Adelaide purely because of my specialist!

7.) When I am older and all my children have grown up and moved out to start their own families I want to open my home up to under privelged children. I want to foster as many children as I can, to try and give them the life they deserve!

8.) I constantly have babies on the brain! I see a baby and all I want to do is cuddle and kiss it. I want a child of my own more that anything else at the moment and when the time comes I know that I will be a wonderful mother, I am just waiting on the all clear from my doctors.

9.) I have trouble keeping anything I write short and simple, as you can clearly see by this post. I love to write, it is something that I inherited from my mother, she received a bunch of awards at university for her writing. I often found at school when I was asked to write a essay and it had to be 5 thousand words, everyone would moan that the teacher was asking for too much I would always moan that 5 thousand words wasn't enough to truly get my point across. I love to write and find that it is much easier for me to explain myself fully on paper than to try and talk about it!

You can see the anxiety on my face on half of my wedding pictures!

10.) I have soul crushing anxiety! This is something that I deal with on a daily basis and I don't really like to talk about it because it makes me feel pathetic. I struggle with constant voices in my head telling me that I am not good enough, that everyone around me hates me, that I don't fit in with my family, that my outfit screams fatty! I have tried talking to my family about it in the past and they just don't seem to understand the severity of it all, I am constanty being told just get over it Gi. But there is no real way to get over anxiety! No matter how my life turns out it will be something I struggle with on a daily basis, at the moment I am just happy that it is quiet enough that it allows me to leave the house in the mornings!

11.) I love the movie Titanic! I used to have it on video tape and watch it every weekend. My parents even bought me a promotional movie poster and I hung it above my bed and use to kiss Leo before I went to bed every night ha ha ha I think I was around 8 years old!

Time to answer the 11 facts that Emorie has asked:

1.) If money wasn't an issue and you could travel freely, where is the first place you would want to visit?
I have travelled to many places that I wanted to go, America, Hong Kong, Denmark, Singapore, China, Kuala Lumpa, Paris, Vanuatu and a few others but the next place that I am hoping and praying to visit Barbados! Granted now that Dyl and I have just bought a new house we won't be able to afford it but it is somewhere I would love to go. I guess we will have to make Bali our Barbados!

2.) What is your favourite tea? If tea isn't your thing, what is your favourite thing to drink?
I love tea, when I was in hospital I used to drink a lot of black tea with sugar, when I was a hippy vegan it was green tea or daffodil and now that I am just well business Gi I am all about Chia Tea! I like to change my tea liking to go with my personality ha ha!

3.) Do you have any pets? TELL ME ALL ABOUT THEM!
I have 2 beautiful dogs, Saffron my baby girl who would be about 7 now, is a long haired Scottish collie think Lassie! But she's way smarter than Lassie was and so could save 10 Timmy's trapped down a well except she's super lazy so probably wouldn't get off her arse to help! Then there is my other little lady Ziggy but really she's not too much of a lady. I was told that she is a ridge back but turns out she's most likely ridge x great daine! Yeah she's a big girl!! She can jump over me if she wants, and seems to have so much energy that she just won't stop! Her favourite things to do are rip up any sort of bed we leave lying around for her, even if that means a sheet that I have drying on the line or taking a massive poop right as we walk past people! They are my babies and I love them too death! I can't wait for us to get this new house as it has 5 acres on it and I know they will just love all the freedom to run around.

My Babies Ziggy and Saffron.

4.) What is the best book you've read recently?
Lately I have been reading the unabridged version of Les Miserables. It is by far one of the best books I have ever read! Whilst it is taking me a long time to read it (1,400 pages doesn't go fast!) I am certainly loving every second of this book. I did find the beginning a bit hard to get into but I am glad that I stuck with it. I watched the musical the other night and was incredibly disappointed.  My favourite parts of the book where not included and I felt that you didn't really understand Fatines struggle like it was explained in the book! I will be reading the Great Gatsby once I have finished this book.

5.) Have you ever been to Idaho? How much did you love it!?
I have never been to Idaho but I would like to go one day, I love the whole mountainous look to those parts of America and feel I would fall in love with those areas and never wish to leave.

6.) Favorite Film(s)?
I am a predictable love story junkie! I love Moulin Rouge, Romeo and Juliet, Titanic obviously, Lords of Dog town is another favourite. I also love love LOVE Disney movies and have a rather large collection! Beauty and the Beast, Alice in Wonderland, The Little Mermaid, Dumbo, Robin Hood, Aristocats, The Sword in the Stone,  Mulan, Brave, Bambi, The rescuers down under, Snow white, Cinderella, the list goes on I can't even remember the all!

7.) If I was having you over for dinner, what would your request be?
I would pretty much eat anything as long as it doesn't contain mushrooms or the main ingredient isn't eggs! I am also not a fan of anything with unusal organs used but I am pretty much open to trying all other things! However if you really wanted to impress me than a perfectly rare steak with some sort of potato side rosti and garlic veggies would do the trick. I am a sucker for meat and 3 veg done right!!

8.) What is your favourite woodland creature?
Do fairies and water nymphs count? I was always positive that woodlands where full of them when I was a child! My friend and I wrote about 50 mini books about all the different types you could find in the woods. We even illustrated them. I wish I knew what I did with them now, they where like Peter the Rabbit books. But on a real woodland creature note I would probably pick foxes, I love foxes they are totally adorable granted they are listed as a feral pest over here and when you find a fox as large as a dog chewing on a rabbit one night in your backyard they lose their charm a bit but I imagine woodland foxes are much more mystical!

9.) What is a go-to stress reliever of yours?
My go to stress reliever is either sitting in a bath reading, sitting in the shower listening to music or cuddling up on the couch with my husband watching a good movie! They each have their draw backs, the bath goes cold, the shower wastes too much water and Dylan can annoy the hell out of me some nights but when I am stressed they really do seem to help. I also read somewhere that they had volunteers hooked up to a pain machine and increased the pain over a period of time whilst watching brain activity on a monitor. They then made a random person hold the volunteers hand as they started the short bursts of pain over again and noticed that the pain receptors in the brain remained the same. Finally they made the volunteers partner hold their hand and begin the burst of pain again. They found that when you hold your partners hand you brain actually manages to decrease the severity of the pain and increasing the comfort levels purely because of your partners presence. I think about this often when I am sick or stressed, I do find that being around Dylan really seems to calm and soothe me!

Schoolies 06 partying up cool kids style (not so much!)

10.) Where is the coolest place you have road tripped to?
I wouldn't really call it cool but when I was younger my parents dragged me and my 3 little sisters all through out the Australian Desert! I have been to Alice Springs, Ayers Rock, Copper Pedy all those desolate and not so enjoyable for teenagers spots! I also road tripped with my friends down the coast for schoolies that was defiantly the coolest road trip but wasn't really that far. I guess I kinda missed out on the whole road trippin experience.

11.) What is your favourite thing to blog about?
I love blogging about my husband, super lame I know but I just love him so darn much that any excuse to talk about him I will! We are the lames couple ever but I love that about us!

Strange as he seems, he's my soul mate!

The 11 Bloggers I nominate are:

Wednesday Link Ups and my Weekly Pinterest Plans

Welcome to Wednesday Wonderful Women!

As it is Wednesday or Hump Day or Middle of the week or whatever you wish to call it I feel it is as good a time as any to pull out a few Wednesday Link Ups!

Sounds like a plan to meet some wonderful new bloggers and get through this boring slump of a day!

I am feeling super duper positive however as I already worked out this morning and handed over the signed contract for our new house WOOOO!!

But lets get back to more serious things shall we, BLOG LINK UPS!!!

Wow Wow Wednesday with This Girls Life
Firstly lets link up with Melissa from This Girls Life with the Weekly Wednesday Blog Hop Link Up. Jump over to her page and check it out, just add your blog to her link up and get ready to visit and be visited by some amazeballs blogs!!

Secondly lets link up with Rebekah from All That Glitters and her WILDCARD WEDNESDAY LINK UP. Just head on over to her page add your link up and you go into the draw to win a special prize each month! It is also a great way to meet lots of wonderful new Blogs!!

Lastly linking up with Michelle from The Vintage Apple and her OH HOW PINTERESTING LINK UP!
The aim of the game for this link up is just to find some beautiful pins from pinterest and post the on your page. However I like to take this link up one step further and post pins that I am thinking of creating. How very DIY of me you may say, well most of the time it doesn't turn out!!

I am trying to regrow kitchen scraps in my house, at this point in time I am regrowing 2 Cos/romaine lettuce heads, a celery head and a few carrot heads. We shall see how this goes next week. I am hoping I can transplant them straight into my new garden bed after they have sprouted a bit so the veggie patch has some veggies in it when I try selling my house! So far the Cos lettuce seems to be doing okay but I am not too sure about the others.

I want to try and add studs to some old plain tops that I have, I am currently cleaning my house out and getting rid of a lot of old items I never wear but I would love to try and spruse some of them up and wear them again. I think that this addition of studs looks do able for my skill level and I also think that it could look great on a plain long sleeved work top! Hopefully this isn't too complicated for me to pull off!!

Winter is certainly setting in around these parts which means that I am more and more inclined to cook comfort food! Dylan has been working tirelessly for my families building company which means this week he has come home covered in mud and wet from all the rain. When he gets home I normally let him have his own time, play some PlayStation, relax and eat what ever he wants for dinner. As I have been eating clean this past week and only cooking once it means that he has not had his own cooked meal in awhile, hes been living off subway and chips. I feel really guilty so this weekend I want to make him one of his favourites! Which happens to be a Skinny Taste Recipe Chicken Cordon Bleu. I am looking forward to surprising him with dinner, I know he will be happy about it!!

Finally the last pin I am going to try is 10 Quick ways to Style long and short hair. As you most likely all know by now I have incredibly boring completely flat straight long brunette hair. I wake up most mornings and either leave it down or put it up in a high ponytail or bun nothing to fancy. However I really have been wanting to play around with some hair styles so I will be giving this pin a good go!

Now that I have linked up with all my Wednesday Link Ups and I have my Pinterest plans for the week I am going to head on over to some other blogs that have linked up and read how they have been going for the week.

Okie Dokie Artichokies that is all for this Wednesday!

#SUNDAYPREP Link Up

Good morning all my sexy minxes!

how did your Mondays go?

Mine was fairly successful YAY!

Today I am blogging my #SUNDAYPREP link up

I know technically this should have be posted Monday morning but I am a lazy B.I.T.C.H and didn't do any proper prep till Monday night!

Oh well at least I got it done right!!

So if you check in with yesterdays Monday Organisational Fun Day post you can check in and see what I have listed for my nutritional plan this week.

Before SUNDAY PREP

The top left picture is of my fridge prior to prep, it contained at the time some cheese, beer, butter and Dylan's spare Indian takeaway from the weekend. I like to keep my fridge clean and organised. If  food starts to look a little bad I don't keep it, I am not a fan of leftovers. I have been too sick too many times in my teen years from leftovers to keep eating them!!

The top right picture is of my pantry prior to prep, I like to keep it clean and organised. I keep a lot of pasta, flour, chia seeds, spices, mission corn chips and tinned veggies that keep for a while. I like to put all my shopping into my own containers that I keep well labelled and organised so if I ever need something I can easily find it.

The bottom picture is the food for this week that I needed to prep. Items included chicken breast, turkey mince, mission whole wheat tortillas, tofu, tinned tomatoes, frozen berries, lemons, apples, pears, capsicums, carrots, bananas, cos lettuce, celery and parsley. This food is all for me this week, Dylan will most likely cook his own dinner as he doesn't like a lot of the clean recipes I cook!

Weekly prep breakdown

1.) Breakfast Banana Crapes made with tofu.
To make this I just chucked all the ingredients into a blender and DA DAHHH its already done, all I need to do is pour a little bit out each morning and fry it up in the pan.

2.) Morning Snack Protein Shake and Raisins.
All I did was pack 6 little containers with raisins for the week, I will make the protein shake in the morning when I leave for work. Granted that is if I actually start drinking it, which I do want to work on!

3.) Lunch Turkey and Veggie Soup with Salad.
All I did was brown the turkey mince in a large pot, diced up all my veggies (I have a nicer dicer so it makes it super easy and super fun!) then added all the veggies and stock into the pot with the turkey and let that simmer for a hour or so. Once finished I divided it up into little containers and that is done too!

4.) Afternoon Snack Glow and Go Smoothie.
This smoothie has lots of veggies and fruits in it. All I did was dice up all the veggies and fruits in my nicer dicer (I made a BIG MESS with this one!) then I put them into little zip lock bags wrote on the front the amount of water I need to add to the mixture when I make it and then chucked it in the fridge.

5.) Dinner Fish Tacos and Green Salad.
I subbed the fish for chicken because I couldn't find any good fish that wasn't imported from overseas or crumbed! The recipe called for the fish to be cooked in the pan individually but I felt that would take up too much time so I chucked my chicken onto a tray covered in baking paper, added a little salt and pepper then chucked some slices of lemon onto the chicken and baked for around 20 minutes. Whilst this was baking I chopped up some veggies and grilled them in a pan then placed them in little individual containers for the week. Finally once the chicken was done I also placed it into separate container for the week.

6.) Dessert Berries and Whipped Coconut Cream.
I will be making this tonight as the cream had to sit for over night in the fridge but it seems fairly simple, just whip some coconut cream and add some mixed berries simple!

All up it took me about 2 hours to cook all the food for the week but I was taking my time and not really rushing, I am sure if you were in a time crunch  you could probably make it in around a hour.

After Sunday prep

The top shelf contains Dinner and breakfast, the second shelf contains lunch and afternoon snacks, the third shelf contains morning snacks, the fourth shelf contains Dylan's food and the bottom containers hold left over fruit and veggies that Dylan will most likely eat during the week!

This is what I love about the Revolt Now Fitness Program and the #SUNDAYPREP that you do for it. It is simple easy to make meals that leaves your week organised and productive. All I have to do is warm up my meals and then wash the containers they are sitting in for the rest of the week WONDERFUL!!!

Well that is all for the #SUNDAYPREP link up grab the button, chuck it up on your page and don't forget to link up below!

Monday Organisational Fun Day 27th May

Good Morning Lovers!

I hope everyone had a excellent weekend!

I have been so super duper busy getting my house ready this past week as well as dealing with work BOO!!

In actual fact I am currently typing this whilst at work instead of seeing my gym trainer as my boss messaged me early this morning saying he was sick and wasn't coming in to work and would be diverting his phone to mine.

Thought I might be able to sneak in a quick PT session but as I am running out of my house I get a call and need to be at work in 5 mins to organise things for people. (lucky I only live a minute away from work!)

Anywhozles I know I have been super bad with my Revolt Now Fitness Posts lately and I feel super duper guilty! I was asked to review such a wonderful program that I really need to pull the stick out my arse and get going with it!

I am a procrastinator!

I mean I even bought a new diary and colour pens to keep me on track with posts, granted my new diary is a EOFY diary so doesn't start till June but whateves!

I shall hopefully chuck up the #SUNDAYPREP post I have waiting at home so you can all see how I get through all my prep for the week!
